Mt. Kailash Circuit Tour

Mt. Kailash Mansarovar Tour

Mt Kailash circuit Tour is a sacred and respectful tour for Hindu and Buddhist devotees. The mountain is locally known as Kang Rimpoche by the Buddhists, which means valuing gem of snow. It is full of religious mythology and the people think that they can get free from the sins they have committed and enter into the heaven after death if they can make a pilgrimage tour. For the transmigration, they should take 108 rounds the mountain, which takes about three days for 53 km.

Along with the Kailash Mountain, there is another sacred Lake called Mansarovar. It is located at 4560 meters above sea level. The trip to Kailash and Man Sarovar is combined into a single itinerary. In Hindu mythology, it is a bathing place of Lord Shiva and Parvati and the place is popular as the soul of Brahma. The trip goes through Nyalam, Saga, Paryang and Lake Man Sarovar. Then it makes a round of the Kailash Mountain and retrace all the way to Kathmandu. This place is remembered for a fight of the 12th century between Buddhist saint Milarepa and the Bon Shamans.
