Mera Peak Climbing

Mera Peak Climbing

Mera peak (6654m) is the highest trekking peak in Nepal authorized by Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), which is situated in the Everest region of Nepal. It is another popular climbing peak in Nepal. It is a non- technical and straightforward climbing, but the heavy level of snow makes the trip longer. It was first ascended by the team of Jimmy Roberts and Tenzing in 1953 AD. The Himalayan views during the trip are awesome and the warm welcome of the Sherpa people is wonderful.

The trail of Mera Peak climbing is different than the usual route of Everest region trekking. It is less visited and less explored region in the Khumbu area. The trip begins from Lukla and heads towards the Hinku Valley. There are various attractions in this peak climbing package. The views of the Everest Himalayas are outstanding. They include Mt. Everest (8848m), Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Kanchenjunga (8586m), Mt.Makalu (8463m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m), Nuptse (7855m) and Chamlang (7319m) and other mountains in the Everest region. It unleash your extra adventure dream fulfilling opportunities. This north face engrosses the tough ascending through high altitude glacier. This route might be risky to climb, but the level of snow makes easy to reach the top of Mera Peak. The west face to climb is more challenging and riskier than climbing through the north face.
